As we look back, there is so much to be grateful for. Not for anything we have accomplished, but for ALL THAT GOD has done in and amongst us.
Psalm 127 has been our prayer for the past few years 'Unless the Lord builds the House, the builders labour in vain’.
Our vision as a church is to be the Good News of Jesus to Watford and beyond, a church for everyone, with a heart for the rising generation.
On our Vision Sunday in September we shared where we are going over the next year, as we continue building for the future. We really sense God is doing a new thing among us. We remain a church for everyone, serving Watford and beyond, while renewing a calling that has been part of our DNA from the beginning: investing in the rising generations and helping them encounter Jesus and grow in faith. With this in mind, we’re refocussing on three things this year:
The Rising Generations
The Community we build inside and outside these walls
The Buildings that make both of these possible.
We take our lead from the example of the early church in Acts 2: a community of people who gather, pray, worship, give, serve those around them and share the good news of Jesus. Not by might, not by power, but by His Spirit. Are you in?
